Abstract

The purpose of this research is to analyze the effectiveness of implementing the Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) method in improving students’ understanding and practice of Islamic morals at MI Al-Muslimun Magetan. This study used a qualitative descriptive approach through observation, interviews, and document analysis to obtain a comprehensive picture of the learning process and outcomes. The findings showed that the application of CTL through the stages of constructivism, inquiry, questioning, learning community, modeling, reflection, and authentic assessment is effective in enhancing students’ understanding of moral concepts and encouraging the development of positive behavior both in the school environment and at home. The novelty of this research lies in the integration of CTL with the context of Islamic education at the madrasah ibtidaiyah level, resulting in more meaningful, contextual, and character-oriented learning experiences. The findings provided implications for madrasah policy to strengthen the implementation of CTL as a learning strategy that supports the comprehensive formation of Islamic character.Top of FormBottom of Form.
