Abstract

Learning media plays a crucial role in improving the quality of the teaching and learning process. Currently, learning media is no longer limited to textbooks or conventional teaching aids, but also includes digital media such as Wordwall. Wordwall is a web-based application that provides various interactive game templates that can support active learning. This study aims to describe the use of wordwall media in Islamic Religious Education (ISE) learning, determine its impact on student engagement, and identify the strengths and challenges faced by teachers in its implementation at Mardhatillah Picung Elementary School for the Tahfizh Qur'an. This study used a qualitative approach with data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis was carried out through the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results show that the use of wordwall media has a positive impact on student engagement in Islamic Religious Education (ISE) learning. This media makes the learning process more interesting, enjoyable, and interactive. Furthermore, wordwall also encourages active student involvement, both physically, mentally, and emotionally, thereby improving motivation and learning outcomes.
