Abstract

The digital era presents both easy access to information and significant challenges for the sharpness of human reason. The rapid flow of information, the flood of instant content, and a social media culture rife with disinformation have the potential to weaken critical and reflective thinking skills. In this context, Islamic education plays a strategic role in nurturing and guiding reason so that it remains aligned with the values ​​of revelation and scientific ethics. Through the integration of reason and faith, Islamic education encourages students to develop rational, critical, and civilized thinking skills in utilizing digital technology. This research used a literature review method, comparing various concepts. The results highlight the importance of strengthening digital literacy, character development, and internalizing spiritual values ​​as an effort to safeguard reason from being swayed by the noise of cyberspace. Islamic education serves as a key pillar in shaping individuals who are intellectually intelligent, morally mature, and wise in facing the dynamics of the digital era.
