PERENCANAAN PENDIDIKAN ISLAM UNTUK PENGUATAN LITERASI DIGITAL DAN KARAKTER SISWA DI MTSN 5 CIANJUR

The increasing intensity of digital media use among madrasah students not only presents learning opportunities but also raises the risk of character degradation and digital ethics. This study aims to analyze Islamic education planning in strengthening digital literacy and character of students at MTs Negeri 5 Cianjur. The study used a descriptive qualitative approach with a case study design. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, observations, and documentation studies with three key informants, and analyzed using thematic coding techniques with validation through source and technique triangulation. The results show that Islamic education planning is developed in a participatory manner involving various stakeholders. Strengthening digital literacy is carried out through the use of offline-based learning applications, the development of a media center, and the production of controlled educational content, while character strengthening is realized through the habituation of worship, monitoring of gadget use, and collaboration between madrasahs and parents. This study implies that Islamic education planning can function as a strategic mechanism in controlling students' digital behavior. The novelty of the study lies in the planning model that integrates controlled digital literacy and collaborative religious character development at the junior high school level.
